Talking about the view, most of the seats in the mezzanine section offer a pretty good view, some seats with a better view than even the centre orchestra seats. In most theatre houses, mezzanine and/or balcony seats are sold at lower prices when compared to orchestra seats especially if they are located farther from the stage. Good seats, not great.

I'm not sure which seats are better, rear orchestra or front of mezzanine. You're close and you can see their faces.

Secret Tip: Row J in the mezzanine has the most foot room of any row in the theatre.

We had 3 seats and one seat had an obstructed view the whole time because a tall person was sitting two rows in front of us. Orchestra is on the floor in front of the stage.

I've seen productions from the front row of the orchestra and from the back row of the balcony. Answer 1 of 8: I am looking at available tickets and I can choose from either row N of Orchestra (seats 2, 4) or row B of Front Mezzanine (seats 2, 4). Better legroom is only available on the front row and aisle seats, although unlike the Left and Right Orchestra these face head-on to the stage.

Also, these seats are typically not raked, so you're likely to see nothing but heads in front of you.

But despite the distance from the stage, some theatre-goers still prefer mezzanine seating because of better and unobstructed view. The centre mezzanine has seats numbered 101-118 moving right to left. Price is same for both options so which one is better …

I'm a New Yorker and see several Broadway plays and musicals every month. Luck of the draw sitting back here but if you don't have a tall person than the view is pretty good.

The mezzanine is different than the balcony-it is lower and closer to the stage (and front mezzanine seats are generally the same price as orchestra seats, while balcony seats are usually the least expensive).
