Chris Mason and another lead Btrfs developer have sent out a kernel patch today updating their email addresses as they will be joining Facebook to work on the Linux file-system.

Chris outlined the current state of development of Btrfs as well as the future plans.
I asked Chris Mason some questions about his new file system, and he kindly answered me. Chris Mason, the lead Btrfs developer and its creator when back at Oracle in 2007, joined Fusion-io last year and continued working on Btrfs and its upstream kernel support. It's pronounced both way, according the btrfs author Chris Mason . Chris is now leaving to work elsewhere.
